What Qualifies as a Garage Door Emergency?

Any situation where your garage door is stuck open or closed, posing security risks or preventing access, is considered an emergency. If you're unsure, give us a call for guidance.

How Quickly Can You Respond to an Emergency Call?

We prioritize emergency services to ensure a timely response. Our technicians aim to be at your location as quickly as possible, often within a couple of hours.

Are There Any Additional Charges for Emergency Services?

While some situations may include an emergency service fee, we always provide upfront pricing with no hidden costs. Your peace of mind is our priority.

Can I Attempt to Fix the Issue Myself Before You Arrive?

For your safety, we don't recommend attempting repairs yourself. Garage doors have complex mechanisms that require professional handling to avoid injuries or further damage.

What Should I Do While Waiting for Emergency Repair Services?

Ensure the safety of those nearby and secure the area. If safely possible, disconnect the garage door opener to prevent further operation until we arrive.

Are All Repairs Completed During the Emergency Visit?

We strive to do all necessary repairs on the spot, but if additional parts are needed, we'll schedule a follow-up as soon as possible to complete the job.

The home we just moved into was built 11 years ago. We noticed rattling and unstable garage door mechanisms on both the garage doors, as well as a torn bottom seal, and knew both doors required maintenance. Brother's Ray & Brad were able to stop by the same day to evaluate and make suggestions, then perform the upgrades/maintenance items the next day. They were knowledgeable, efficient, reasonable, honest and personable. Both garage doors are operating smoothly and quietly. Very happy with the service they provided. The extra bonus was companion pup Gus! I highly recommend Horizon Garage Door Service for all your garage door needs.
